Spotlight on new Acis features and updates
Current as of: 11 June 2024.
At Acis, we recognise your evolving needs and have invested heavily in innovative solutions to streamline workflows, enhance security and boost efficiency. Here’s a detailed overview of our recent updates and enhancements.
Seamless digital document signing
With our new digital signing feature, you can effortlessly manage and request digital signatures for all company documents within the Acis platform. With a few clicks, execute pre and post registration documents, monitor signatories’ progress and securely store documents via Acis or our integration partners. This streamlined process not only saves you time but also efficiently streamlines workflows, making it easier for you to effectively service your clients.
While electronic execution of deeds is permitted by legislation in some jurisdictions, acceptance by third parties (such as banks and titles/revenue offices) may vary. So, for now, we recommend sticking to wet signatures for these documents to ensure compliance and acceptance by major financial and government institutions. We will keep a close eye on the market and roll out digital signing for more documents as they gain wider acceptance.
Advanced security upgrade
As technology evolves, so do we. Our upgraded authentication system delivers stronger security and a more streamlined user experience. This upgrade introduces several new features, including Single Sign-On (SSO) and third-party authentication options, making it easier and safer for you to access our platform.
We remain dedicated to continuously updating our systems to maintain the highest security standards for our clients. By using the latest security technologies, we keep your data safe, so you can focus on your business with peace of mind.
Maximise efficiency with powerful integrations
Time is of the essence in your busy workday, which is why we’re continually creating innovative ways to develop and support business processes. Our seamless integrations with platforms like Class Super, BGL’s CAS 360, Simple Fund 360, Xero Practice Manager, SuperMate, FuseSign, and DocuSign automate processes, reduce manual tasks and generate significant time and resource efficiencies.
Fundamental to our integrations is superior data deduping and cross-referencing, ensuring high data accuracy and reliability, which in turn reduces administrative workload and enables your team to focus on more important tasks.
Convenient BDBN ordering
We’ve simplified the process for ordering Binding Death Benefit Nominations (BDBNs) on the Acis platform. You can now directly order BDBNs within a new SMSF order or an SMSF upgrade, making the entire process more convenient and efficient.
Nothing beats the human touch
We know it’s the combination of human expertise and technology that packs the biggest punch. That’s why each Acis order is meticulously reviewed by our team before finalisation, highlighting potential issues early.
To maintain our exceptional support, we’ve expanded our client and legal services teams to ensure our clients receive the best support possible.
Go-to solutions
When advisors say they need legal and technical services to make life easier, we listen. This is why we’ve developed two innovative services: SuperDepot and Trust Evolve™.
In the past year, we’ve seen a surge in firms adopting SuperDepot, our cloud-based SMSF deed management service. The SuperDepot platform automates SMSF deed updates, reducing administrative work, simplifying compliance, and providing a unified approach to managing and keeping SMSF deeds current.
With recent cases and legislative updates, dotting your I’s and crossing your T’s with trusts is more important than ever. That’s why we developed Trust Evolve™ — your go-to solution for trust deeds and distributions. Our expert legal team provides meticulous technical reviews and amendments, ensuring every detail is scrutinised. Trust Evolve™ keeps you secure and ahead of the curve by mitigating trust deed risks and empowering you to deliver trust distributions with confidence.
Knowledge is power
Following 2020-2021, the world went digital and in-person events followed suit. Since then, we’ve observed a skyrocketing demand for high-quality, accessible educational resources, prompting us to shift from our physical roadshow to a digital format. Now, we offer 10 webinars per year, each designed to keep you ahead of legislative changes and prepared for critical client conversations, with registrations consistently exceeding 1,000.
